April Show & Share

Lynda has been busy felting furniture covers for her house. This is a "not-yet-felted" panel (1 of 4). For this, she started with a wool quilt batting as the base layer over muslin, with embellishments on top.

Here's a detail showing the locks and threads that she is incorporating into the whole.

Here's another detail. (The colors have been enhanced. The actual is much more muted and calm.)

Katy did more work (couching) on her Dragon quilt. This is heavily thread-painted after a class with Ellen Eddy. She also died the base fabric in an exclusive class with Rikky Timms (She's got connections!)

Michele finished this small Cathedral Windows piece. Handwork away from home.

Sandy brought this small book she made for her grand-daughter, complete with a pocket in the back cover.

Jo Anne has been busy making aprons and more in preparation for a craft sale in Michigan.

Lois is modeling one of Jo Anne's aprons.

Detail of one of Jo Anne's table runners, and a Kleenex cozy.

Another one of Jo Anne's new aprons.

2 quick table runners by Jo Anne.

Lois made this bag from pre-quilted fabric. She calls it her Bow-Tuck (or Bo-tox) Purse,
